Clock BPM to Midi CC

Is it possible to map the clock BPM to a midi CC on any RJM controller? This would be for a delay pedal without tap tempo, but with an expression/CV input. Like the Asheville Music Tools ADG-1.

The goal would be to tap a tempo live, and that BPM could then send the correct CC to give a steady control voltage (via midi to CV converter) to the expression input.

I don’t think that would do the trick. The pedal doesn’t have tap tempo. It is simply an expression CV.

The RJM would need to have some kind of look up table that is able to be calibrated for the delay. For example, if I tap out 40 bpm, it would send midi out a continuous CC at something around CC5. Or if I tapped in 120 bpm it would send out CC55.

Correct. What you need is a device that accepts MIDI clock and converts it to CV. Even if the Mastermind or any other controller converted MIDI clock to MIDI CC with the MIDI Control Value indicating tempo, you'd still need a "smart" CV device to decipher the MIDI CCs, etc.

Maybe https://www.moltenvoltage.com/products.html has something that will do what you need.

I think I understand.

I have a few midi to CV converters. So for example, say I’m using the Space Brains Midivolts desktop. That can convert MIDI CCs to CV.

Using Auto-Tap, I could program in a custom BPM To CC table, and whatever the clock BPM in the RJM (whether tapped or programmed) would send the exact continuous CC I would need to the Midivolts that would then convert it to CV?
