Help with Eventide H90 / RJM GT 16 Presets

Is there anyone who can help me figure this H90 out! I cannot for the life of me get the H90 effect to be on when changing presets. I have read through the different forums on here and tried using AI to help but still can't get it to work properly. All I'm trying to do is have the effect on when I change presets. Like when I switch to the Dirty / Tremolo preset - I would like the H90 to be on with a small amount of reverb. Or when I hit the solo button I have a pitch shift effect that I would like to automatically be on. Right now when I switch presets it seems like the pedals glitches and takes a few seconds to select the correct PC / effect. Sometimes it shows INIT Program before flashing over to the pitch shift PC when selecting the Solo Preset.

In the Midi Global Ctl I have these CC codes set up...at least thats what I read online to do. Attached are screen shots of my MMGT Editor.
P Act/ Byp (M) set to CC# 23
A Act/ Byp set to CC# 24
B Act/ Byp set to CC# 25

Is there any Midi Wizards out there who can help me? It's annoying that the H90 is this complicated to get set up...especially for its price point.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The linked thread below might help. It is a known issue that the H90 cannot accept MIDI PC and CC without a delay between them. 300msec seems to do the trick. Let me know if you need help.

Thanks for responding Mario. I read through it and tried a ton of different things with no luck. I tried adding the system wait 300ms on the button - tried it on the preset system actions page as well. I'm at a loss. I read online that firmware 1.8.6 doesn't have the bug so I installed that but still having the same issue. Should update the pedal to the latest firmware and try it again? Attached are my current settings after messing / trying different things. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Mario.

Hey John,

Please try my attached file. Specifically, switch between these two presets to see if there's any improvement in H90 functionality.

Preset 56: Boost | Crush
Preset 57: Boost / Chorus | Crush

The H90 should switch presets and turn on and off.

Let me know.

Hey Mario,
So it’s switching programs but the effect doesn’t actually turn on. I should have turned my delay / chorus off…my bad. The H90 will show an active a green dot in the upper corner of input 1 showing its receiving signal / working. Right now I have to double tap the switch to get the effect to turn on. I had a show this past week and just had the H90 send PC codes so it would switch to the correct effect with the foot switch on the RJM board in the off position and then would step on the switch to turn it on. (Effectively turning the double tap into just one tap to turn on the effect.) I’m just trying to figure out how to switch presets with the effect automatically on. For that particular preset that would be a reverb. I attached a video for you to see what’s going on. Should I update the H90 to its latest firmware? I’m not sure if that would maybe fix this issue?

Definitely update the H90 to the latest firmware.

If the file still doesn't work, try adding another "Wait" action to after the MIDI CC being sent to the H90, as a test. If that doesn't make any difference, connect the H90 to its Editor and send me a screen shot of its MIDI assignments for the different bypass options available.
