Using tempo up and down

I’m having an issue where I’m possibly misusing tempo on the pbc6x. I have been using 12 blank songs with 12 blank presets and one in each song (song 1 containing a preset labeled song 1). My hope is to be able to program all of the songs on the pbc itself with the store button, and everything works including the tap tempo to save each preset. The only thing not working is the tempo up and down buttons I have programmed. These will change the tempo while I’m on that preset but if I hit store and come back to that preset, it’s the tempo I tapped and not the fine tuned tempo. Should I be using tempo at the song level or preset level in this case? I have the same settings for the tempo up and down buttons as my tap tempo and midi scrolling buttons. Thanks!
 
What firmware version are you using? Make sure you're on the latest. Older firmware didn't save tempo changes in all cases.

I'm not sure what you mean? Bypass is CC#14 and is stored in the settings database.

I don't know when the next release will be out, I haven't allocated any time for it yet.
 
It currently isn't storing with my file. It's an IA Button on a hold function set to IA Link, send on preset, update on preset, and the ia action is mercuryx cc toggle 14 off:0 on :127
 
Do you have any other buttons, presets, etc. that might also be sending CC#14? It's very common for people to have conflicts where one button is telling the pedal to turn on, but another that's telling it to turn off at the same time.
